Continuing Education

For Professionals Seeking Continuing Education Credits

According to the guidelines set forth by accrediting organizations, attendance for professionals seeking credit attendance will be tracked at the start and conclusion of each session, throughout the in-person, live event. For on-demand viewing, pop-up windows will appear during each session to track attendance.
All participants will be asked to provide feedback through an online evaluation. Continuing Education Certificates will be e-mailed to the registrant following the Summit.
Per on-demand guidelines for independent, distance learning, you must pass the post-quiz with 75% or higher with two attempts.

Overarching Conference Learning Objectives:
– Explain new areas of research related to early intervention, education, transitions to adulthood, and mental and emotional well-being.
– Describe current evidence-based, best practice intervention methods for neurodivergent youth and young adults.
– Identify a current evidence-based assessment approach for neurodivergent individuals.
– Apply a current best practice method in assessment, intervention or treatment for neurodivergent individuals.

PSYCHOLOGISTS
The Help Group is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Help Group maintains responsibility for the program and its content. The courses of this conference are eligible for up to 6 hours of live in person programming and 6 continuing education credits, or up to 19 hours of live + on-demand, or on-demand only programming and up to 19 continuing education credits.

SOCIAL WORKERS & THERAPISTS
The Help Group is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. The Help Group maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. The courses of this conference meet the qualifications for 6 hours of live in person programming and 6 continuing education credits, or up to 19 hours of live + on-demand, or on-demand only programming and up to 19 continuing education credits for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
This conference meets the qualifications for 6 hours of live in person programming and 6 continuing education credits, or up to 19 hours of live + on-demand, or on-demand only programming and up to 19 continuing professional development credits for Speech-Language Pathologists as required by the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Board. (Provider #PDP86).

NOTE: If you are attending this conference from any other state, outside of California, please check with your state board to see if you can receive continuing education for this conference.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS
The Help Group is an AOTA Approved Provider of professional development. Course approval ID# 761. This In Person Learning-Interactive and Distance Learning-Independent format is offered for 6 hours of live in person programming and .6 CEUs, or up to 19 hours of live in person + on-demand, or on-demand only programming for up to 1.9 CEUs at intermediate educational levels, in the categories of OT Service Delivery and Foundational Knowledge.

Per AOTA guidelines, for this Distance Learning-Independent, on-demand format, participants will be required to pass a post-test with a score of 75% or higher, in two attempts, in order to receive CEUs. Failure to pass the post-test requirement will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
The Help Group will provide Certificates of Attendance for attendees.

*Breaks and Lunch are not counted toward CE credit.
